Here’s what happened in the Reproducible Builds effort between Sunday April 29 and Saturday May 5 2018:
The Turnkey Linux Debian-derivative announced that their v15.0 release contains reproducible packages.
Chris Lamb uplodeded version 94 of diffoscope (our in-depth “diff-on-steroids” utility which helps us diagnose reproducibility issues in packages) to Debian and PyPI. It includes contributions already convered in previous weeks as well as:
15 package reviews were added, 38 were updated and 54 were removed in this week, adding to our knowledge about identified issues. A new “
member_search_index_json” toolchain issue was added.
In addition, build failure bugs were reported by Adrian Bunk (1) and Chris Lamb (1).
Packages reviewed and fixed, and bugs filed
- #897902 filed against tweeny (sent upstream).
- #897904 filed against libzstd (sent upstream).
- #864082 updated for fontconfig (sent upstream).
- wavemon (builddate timestamp)
This week’s edition was written by Chris Lamb & reviewed by a bunch of Reproducible Builds folks on IRC & the mailing lists.
