https://github.com/bmwiedemann/dettrace got major fixes and ports to most architectures supported in Debian or openSUSE (mostly vibe-coded, so quality may need improvement - at least tests are green). This allows it to be used in production builds. E.g. for making profiling deterministic, so we don’t have to sacrifice the performance of profile-guided-optimizations (PGO) for reproducible builds. It also can be applied to Lisp/Scheme memory dumps (clisp, sbcl, scheme48, racket, emacs) that are really hard to make deterministic.
